Discover our beautiful metal bird nest

This artwork is a unique addition to both indoor and outdoor spaces. This bird with nest, produced in the Netherlands, can easily be tapped into a wooden beam, tree stump or other material and brings coziness and atmosphere to any space.

    A bird's nest

A bird nest is a breeding ground for birds. The nesting material is collected from the environment and usually consists of organic material such as twigs, blades of grass and leaves. It offers the birds a safe place to lay their eggs and feed their offspring until they can fly independently.

    Material properties of Corten steel

Our metal birds are made of weather-resistant corten steel, this material will, over time, get a characteristic rusty brown color due to the oxide layer that forms. This oxide layer protects the underlying material all year round. This way, this metal bird's nest will be protected for years. Just like all other corten steel decorations that we supply, this metal bird is supplied in ''blank'' metal.

    Care instructions

The weather influences ensure that the weather-resistant Corten steel acquires its characteristic rust-brown color over time. The oxide skin protects the deeper lying material so that it remains protected for years. All Corten steel products that we supply still have the appearance of "clean" metal when sold.
