The Chiffchaff

The Chiffchaff is a small, inconspicuous brown-yellow-green bird. In spring and early summer heard almost everywhere. The chiffchaff is (mainly) a forest bird that likes a rich undergrowth; lots of bushes and low trees. In appearance is often confused with the Willow Warbler, but by the repeated calling of its own ' tjif-tjaf ' it is quickly clear which of the two it is.

The Kingfisher

A blue flash. A whistling call. That must be the Kingfisher. Kingfishers sit quietly on a low-hanging branch above flowing water. They are watching for fish. And when they see their prey, they hang quietly in the air for a moment and then dive into the water at lightning speed to grab it. Material properties of Corten steel

Our metal birds are made of weather-resistant corten steel, this material will, over time, get a characteristic rusty brown color due to the oxide layer that forms. This oxide layer protects the underlying material all year round. This way, these metal Great Tits will be protected for years.
